Gather Around the Table This Easter for a Traditional Feast at Plain & Fancy Farm’s Restaurant

Plain & Fancy Restaurant is Lancaster County’s original family-style restaurant. It was famous for delicious golden fried chicken, delighting visitors to Amish Country for many years. About 7 years ago, Plain & Fancy became a “groups-only” restaurant. Meaning, the all-you-care-to-eat, family-style feast was exclusively an option for bus groups coming into the area. For individual parties and walk-in guests, a new restaurant opened, Smokehouse BBQ and Brews. This Easter, Smokehouse is tapping into Plain & Fancy’s heritage and history, and is offering a sumptuous family-style feast, a special menu occasion for the Easter holiday.

The Easter feast includes:

  • Plain & Fancy’s famous fried chicken, ham with apple cider sauce and roast beef with au jus
  • Green beans, Lancaster County brown buttered noodles, fresh rolls with butter, cole slaw and mashed potatoes
  • Cheesecake and carrot cake

This all-you-care-to-eat, family-style feast is $40 per adult (age 13 and up) and $20 per child (ages 4 through 12). This price includes the meal, non-alcoholic beverage, tax and gratuity. Beer, wine and cocktails are available for an additional cost. Unlike traditional family-style dining in Lancaster County, only your group will be seated at your table. Please note that the maximum group size per table is twelve. To make reservations for the Easter Feast, call 717-768-4400. Early reservations are highly recommended.
